The Bund Shanghai is situated within the Huangpu District. It is a wide strip of land that follows the western bank of Huangpu River.

This makes the Bund a major attraction in Shanghai. These architectural types come from many different sources, including Art Deco, Beaux-Arts, Neo-Classical, Baroque, Renaissance, Gothic, and the Romanesque period.
